0 Nokia Lumia 920 fits Windows Phone 8 like a glove

Nokia Lumia 920 is the best Windows Phone 8 smartphone yet. Wait a minute, don’t you think that this is quite the lofty claim to make, especially when you consider the fact that Windows Phone 8 is not even in the market yet, and neither is the Nokia Lumia 920? Well, for starters, what we saw earlier yesterday morning at New York was really impressive to say the least. Not only did the Lumia 920 perform admirably on stage, the extremely responsive mobile operating system from Microsoft also did its part well. Let us take a closer look to see what else the Finnish smartphone company has thrown into the mix for the Lumia 920, shall we? There are plenty of firsts when it comes to technology and the Nokia Lumia 920 in the world of smartphones, and that is on top of all the advantages offered by Windows Phone 8. For starters, how about an exceptional industrial design that carries what Nokia deems to be the “best camera we’ve ever put in a smartphone”? That is certainly a lofty claim to live up to, but the most recent PureView technology crammed inside did impress with its low light photography capability compared to its predecessors, and when you merge this with genuine Optical Image Stabilization, you get dramatically reduced blur and movement even under darker than normal conditions. .
The Nokia Lumia 920 will also come with PureMotion HD+ display technology which powers its generous 4.5” display, where it has been touted to be the fastest, brightest, most-sensitive and highest resolution display to date in its class. I wonder, will the iPhone 5 that is rumored to be announced next week be able to live up to the PureMotion HD+ display, or best it? Only time will tell.
Sporting a 2,000mAh battery that ought to last the distance, the Nokia Lumia 920 will also support wireless charging capability, allowing you to juice up your handset in style without any more pesky wires or cables around the home. Nokia Maps for Windows Phone 8 also ushers in a whole new generation of getting around, where it can function offline even and will integrate walk navigation, an augmented reality view and venue maps.
No idea on pricing, but the Lumia 920 will arrive before the year is over, coming in yellow, red, grey, white and black shades.
